Additional Details: 3 game guarantee (a 4th if you win your division); prizes; licensed beer garden; raffle; 50/50 draw. Managed by the Boogie Knights softball team. Charities are rotated each year, and this year's selected charity is the ST. JAMES COMMUNITY SERVICE SOCIETY.

Summer” softball tournament at McCartney Creek Park. This year will host 12 teams on 4 grass fields, and will include 3 guaranteed games
starting at 9am, a beer garden, a BBQ and raffle prizes over the lunch period.

Date: Saturday, Aug 27, 2011 (one day only)
Where: McCartney Creek Park, North Vancouver
Team Cost: $300
Game Times: 9:00 - 5:30 (No games from 12:15-1:00; when raffle prizes will be drawn)
Time Limit: 1 hour games (no new inning after 50 mins)

Format: Slow Pitch Softball 12 teams maximum 10 Fielders (including a rover)
Co-ed format (6 guys - 4 girls, can play 5/4 or 6/3) Guaranteed 3 Games
Each batter starts with 1-1 count (girls get 4 strikes)
BBQ, Beer Garden, Prizes [TYJA Goods, Team Gear Bags, Bat Backpacks, ASA Bats, TYJA & Sinister battings Gloves and whatever else we get
from our sponsor, thanks Labatt!] Winners of the tournament will get a trophy and free entry into next
years’ event! Each team will be given 12 raffle tickets for the lunch time draws.
Additional tickets may be purchased for $1/each and all proceeds going to the local SPCA.
