All playoffs are single-knockout, SPN umpired, game time is default time, International tie-breaker rule if tied after 7 innings, all games posted on the web page, winning teams to call/email Mike asap after games ... teams are re-seeded after each round to determine top team -1st, 2nd, 3rd etc ...highest team from regular league standings is HOME team ..

 

The 2010 Crosstown Annual Dance & Awards Night will be held on Saturday, August 14th at the Anza Club, Ontario St & 8th Ave....

All trophies & awards & shirts to division champions and finalists (see rules for prizes) will be given out this night ... DJ music, snacks & a 50/50 draw and we will have many, many door prizes from Abbie's Sports, Molsons, SPN, Canadians Baseball, CN, Sleemans Brewery, BC Lions, The Please Me Club of Calgary, Cedar Cottage Pub, Elephant Walk pub, Oscars Pub, Tobys Bar & Grill, etc

Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door... all coaches will have the tickets in their hands soon ... players need only show up at the door with a ticket to pay the $5 fee...

Winning teams with no players attending will have their prizes recycled or donated to a local charity. We Thank You.

The 2009 Annual Crosstown Golf Tournament

A fantastic time was had by 24 golfers on Sunday, Sept 13th at Mylora Sidaway in Richmond as the sun shone all day... 6 teams played a Texas Scramble format and then sat under the tent for many door prizes and tasty BBQ chicken, beef or veggie dinner.

The winning foursome was captained by Trudy Hennen, with Kenny Hulbert, Al Kilburn & Greg Van Wijk. KPs (closest to pin) went to Marv Foerster & Wayne Edwards.

LD (longest drives) went to Jill Love & yes, Mike Cooke! (quote from Mike & Jill "for one brief moment all the stars aligned")

We look forward to having your team join us in either the Men’s Open or Co-ed Open Divisions with 60 Teams in each Division from all parts of North America Competing for the Right to be called the “Champions”! Each Division capped at 60 teams - Men’s Open Division: Sept 13-17, Co-Ed Open Division: Sept. 20-24.
Each Full Division is divided into 12 Pools of 5 teams each with each team guaranteed 4 games.
Top 16 teams advance to play-off reounds.
Teams will only play “1” game a day for the first 4 days & the Top team in Points from each Pool & 4 Wild Card Picks will advance to Friday for the Quarter Finals & Possibly Semi-Finals & Finals. Cash Prizes paid out to the Top 8 teams in each Division. Championship Banner in each Division.
